Closing Event in the Refectory of the Carmelite Monastery

An event by Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten (bdia), Landesverband Hessen (Koordination und Umsetzung)

On 23rd March, 2018, under the title INNENarchitekturOFFEN 2018, the Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten (bdia) Hessen (Association of German Interior Designers), the State Association and the Institute for City History, invite visitors to a closing event in the Carmelite Monastery, featuring project presentations by the bdia members, talks, live music and networking. The talks held during the Biennial of Interior Designers offer visitors the opportunity to acquire information on current trends in building culture, as well as a behind-the-scenes look into design and planning in the bdia offices, together with the chance to conduct some interesting conversations, with live music and buffet.

4.30 pm | Opening of the BIENNIAL INNENarchitekturOFFEN 2018

5 pm | Talk: Prof. Dr. of Engineering, Karsten Tichelmann, Technical University of Darmstadt / Department of Architecture

5.30 pm | Graduate engineer Martin Goldhammer, Frankfurt (Meixner Schlüter Wendt Architekten)
The Henninger Turm (Henning Tower) as emotional monument. Transformation of a contemporary witness from silo to residential apartment tower

6.30–10 pm | Closing event in the Carmelite Monastery with live music – buffet – networking
